Responsible for preparation and baking of all bread items in the baker´s department, according the established standards and passenger satisfaction is his major responsibility.He is responsible for the immediate working area and/or as the Executive Chef delegates.
He is responsible: for the preparation of bread, rolls and other typical bakery products; for the Food Service and Cleaning Procedures for the section assigned to him; for all food storerooms including fridge and freezer in his section; for maintenance and cleaning in the respective section; for maintaining the high standard presentation of food and buffets, together with the Executive Chef further he is responsible for planning, directing, controlling, cooking and co-ordination.
Minimum 2 years of experience as Pastry Chef or Baker on Cruise Ships ; ability in Management and Kitchen Production is a must. Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP together with excellent operational and interpersonal skills are a must ; basic Computer Skills is an asset.
Fluent in English, spoken and written.
